Common questions
What counts as an "active show"?
Any show that hasn't been archived. You can archive a show anytime after closing — it becomes read-only (scripts, cue sheets, and history are all preserved) but no longer counts toward your plan limit.
How does team size work?
Team size counts unique people across all your active shows. If someone is in both your spring and fall productions, they only count once. Your organization pays the plan fee — individual team members never pay.
Why does performance count affect pricing?
A show with 6 performances and a show with 200 performances are very different operations. Performance-based tiers mean a community blackbox pays less than a long-running professional production, which feels fair to everyone.
Can I switch plans mid-season?
Absolutely. Upgrade anytime and your new features are available immediately. If you downgrade, changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Pro and Season plans include a 14-day free trial. Starter plans are one-time purchases with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
